Message from the President

We ended this year on a great note, as our 1st International Chapter Conference and Holiday Dinner were huge successes! SECON International will definitely be coming back next year.

I am so looking forward to planning and attending all of next year's events and I hope you will consider joining one of our many event committees in 2023. It is extremely rewarding to help our community grow and a great way to meet your peers on a more personal level.

I hope you enjoy our final issue of our newsletter of 2022, as we now have reached 1400 subscribers!

I wish everyone a happy and healthy new year and I hope to see you at one of our upcoming events!

Trivia Night Recap

We had to throw in one more event this month, since we didn't have our usual monthly meeting. Trivia Night - JEOPARDY! style was a lot of fun. For those that missed it, see how well you would have done by clicking here! We’ll have some more next year, since everyone seemed to enjoy it.

Jumpstart Mentorship Program (JuMP)

The mission of the (ISC)² New Jersey Chapter's JuMPstart mentorship program is to connect cyber security professionals together to make and establish long lasting professional relationships that are mutually fulfilling. This includes mature cyber security professionals, students, career changers or anyone looking to grow!

For more information about the JuMP program, click here.

We are excited to share we are finishing up our November/December session and starting our January session in the New Year! This is our 4th Series of our mentoring program and it is running October 2022 through February 2023.

Over the coming months our mentors and mentees will be busily scheduling to meet each other and making wonderful connections that contribute to making this chapter what it is.

We have expanded our committee to include Ralph Migliore and we are incorporating him into the operations and planning of the mentorship items. As a committee we have been making sure all the mentorship participants have the information needed to help make meaningful connections. As always we will be requesting feedback to make sure we can implement changes that improve and match our members' needs.

If you have any questions or want to know more information about the JuMP program, please reach out to the Mentoring Committee at mentoring@isc2chapternj.org. To make sure you are not missing any emails from the program, please also add mentoring@isc2chapternj.org to your contact list to allow our communications to make it through your inbox filters.
