- Educated seniors on the latest Internet scams with NJ InfraGard
- Achieved a new milestone of 400 Chapter members!
Coming this spring, we'll be offering (ISC)² exam scholarships to our members.
I'm so happy to see that this year is starting off spectacularly. Hope you can participate in some of our upcoming events!

New Initiatives
Educating Our Senior Community
This month, (ISC)2 New Jersey Chapter teamed up with NJ InfraGard to educate the SIlverwoods senior living center on how to protect themselves against the latest phone and internet scams through some fun reenactments.
Click here to watch Tran and Nat reenact a grandparent scam!
We’ll be asking for volunteers soon to help us educate other senior living centers.
Tran and Ken had the pleasure of working with InfraGard Board Members, Nat Jackson and Cochi Ho, as well as the FBI Coordinator for NJ InfraGard, Dustin Doyle and Special Agent - Elder Fraud Coordinator, Sean McCarthy.
Chapter Scholarships!
This year, we will start giving out scholarships to those in financial need and meet our eligibility criteria.
While we are still working out the details for our scholarship program, eligible receipts would receive either a free (ISC)2 exam and/or a voucher to pay for the first year of your Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF) towards (ISC)2's new "Certified in Cybersecurity" certification. (A $50 savings.)
If you would like to apply for a scholarship and are a NJ ISC2 Chapter member in good standing, please fill out this form.

JuMPstart Mentorship Program (JuMP)
We are thrilled to provide you with an update on our mentoring program for the (ISC)² New Jersey Chapter. Our program has been performing the JuMP program and has also been pursuing other avenues of engaging our membership such as peer networking, 1-on-1 meetups and roundtables.
The current series of our JuMP mentoring program began in September of 2022, and is continuing through the end of March 2023.
We have also seen a significant increase in engagement among our members, with many mentees becoming more involved in our chapter's events and activities. The mentoring program has helped to create a more vibrant and supportive community for our members.
To sign up for the next series in our mentorship please fill out this form here. We expect to launch in May or June 2023 and run for that same five-month length as the previous series.
We are growing the team that supports all these efforts and have had wonderful engagement and reach out for people wanting to volunteer. If you are interested or have any questions, please reach out to mentoring@isc2chapternj.org or find Matthew Lang on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/matthewlangnj/.
