Mike Wilkes - CISO at Security Scorecard

For our July meeting, we’ll have the honor of having Mike Wilkes, CISO at Security Scorecard join us.

Mike Wilkes is a technology evangelist and Chief Information Security Officer that has built, transformed and protected companies such as ASCAP, Marvel, AQR Capital, CME Group, Sony, Macy's as well as European banks and airlines. A graduate of Stanford University, he is a featured speaker at technology conferences and is a professor at NYU teaching cybersecurity courses. An avid jazz fan and musician, he is also on the board of trustees for the National Jazz Museum in Harlem.

Dr. Michael C. Redmond is CEO of Redmond Worldwide and is a recognized International Trainer, Consultant, Auditor, Speaker, and Author,

Her education includes: PhD (Crisis, Organizational and Behavior Psychology) , Integrational Business and Marketing from Fordham University; MBA Risk Management from PECB University; Completing Thesis for MBA Information Security from PECB University); Advanced Masters Certificate International Banking and Operations from American Institute of Banking; B.A., Communication Arts & Management from Marymount Manhattan College; Graduate Military Science from ROTC at NYU Polytechnic; Graduate US Army Command & General Staff College; Received GS 12 Rating, Organizational Effectiveness

Michael spent four years on active duty with the U.S. Army and an additional 17 years in the National Guard and Reserves. She retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

She has been an instuctor for PECB for 6 years. She is also currently an Adjunct Professor for St. Thomas MBA Program in Cyber Law. She teaches Risk Management and the course covers Information/Security, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, and Privacy. Additional teaching expericece includes: Adjunct Professor, Risk Management, St. Thomas Law School, Adjunct Professor, Enterprise Risk Management and Business Courses, New York University, John Jay University Master’s Program, University of Maryland, Mercy College Michael has worked for such companis as: Enterprise Risk Worldwide, KMPG, Deloitte, BNY Mellon, Chubb Insurance and more.

Michael has three published books that are sold in over 35 countries: Mastering Your Introduction to Cyber Security, Mastering Business Continuity Management and Mastering Your Work Life Balance. Her book Mastering Business Continuity Management was selected for Top 16 In the field both in 2020 and in 2021.
